Here at Canoe Adventures, we want you to be able to come and spend the day and enjoy Cypress Springs! With that being said, we do recommend our customers pack a lunch and some drinks.

We also recommend you bring sunscreen and a towel for when you get back to your vehicle,.

When you rent with us you get the rental for the entire day. So come ready to have a great time and stay for an hour or until 5pm. We just ask that you have a great time!

Reservations are not required, however we highly recommend them!

Due to the fact that we allow walk-ins boats are subject to availability unless you have a reservation. By making a reservation, you are guaranteed that we will have your boat ready for you the day and time you arrive. 

Be advised that we have a limited amount of boats so we advise that you make a reservation sooner rather than later to make sure we have the exact boats you are wanting for the day of your choice.

We accept Cash as well as all Major Cards such as Visa, Mastercard, Discover & American Express. We also accept Apply Pay.

Please note that we do charge a service fee for all cards which is equal to 3%. Cash customers are not required to pay the fee.

We do NOT allow Pets of any kind!

We have nothing against pets of any kind, however, we require they be left at home or with a friend during your trip with Canoe Adventures.

Absolutely! We want everyone to be able to experience Cypress Springs! However, we do know that it is easier being shuttled instead of having multiple vehicles. 

We do offer shuttle services at $25/vessel. That will include us loading up your boat and shuttling you to the drop-off point as well as picking you up from the pick-up point and bringing you back to the office.

BE ADVISED! If you are bringing your own kayak/canoe/paddleboard you will need to have the following which is required by FWC:

Whistle, Life Vest (Coast Guard Approved) for EACH Person as well as your paddles. 

The water stays at a cool 68 degrees Fahrenheit year-round!

Short Answer? Extremely Unlikely

We are in Florida, so yes it is possible. However, due to the cool temperature of Holmes Creek and the springs, it is extremely unlikely you will see an Alligator.

No children ages 2 or under! 

All passengers must be 3 and above due to our insurance restrictions. This is something that we cannot control as we have guidelines we must follow as well.

Our Group Reservation Policy is any group consisting of 10 or more boats. 

We do Group Rates for Church Groups and for School Field Trips! Be sure to ask about those.

So the length of the the trip is up to you! 

Upon arrival at the office, we will get you signed in and you will pay the remaining balance of your reservation. From the office we shuttle you to Cotton Landing. You will then float downstream and turn up into Cypress Springs. It takes roughly 10-15 minutes to reach the Springs from the drop-off point. 

Once you leave Cypress Springs, you will continue floating on downstream to the pick-up location which will take you roughly 30-45 minutes depending on if you are just floating or if you are paddling. This is a privately owned landing for Canoe Adventures customers only. This way you get to enjoy Cypress as well as enjoy the sights of Holmes Creek without having to be floating hours to get back to your pickup location. 

Now there are not specific shuttle times that you have to be back at the landing as we want you to be able to come back at your own pace. Our only time requirement is that all boats are required to be back at the pick-up location by 5pm CST. So once you get to the pick-up location you just give us a call if we are not already down there and we will come shuttle you back to the office. There is a 4x4 sign at the landing with our name and phone number on it so you can't miss it and it is also located directly behind our office so there is a very short wait time due to this.

Holmes Creek has some great opportunities for fishing! If you love to fish, then bring your fishing pole and gear!

We do not mind you bringing your fishing gear along with you! If you are going to fish, then we would definitely recommend you choose pick-up Option 2 so that you can experience more of Holmes Creek. For more info see "How it Works! How Long Does It Take?"
